What is AT&T U-verse for Business?
AT&T U-Verse for Business is a high-speed Internet service using our new fiber-optic network technology. This network enables faster Internet speeds, up to 10 Mbps for file downloads and up to 1.5 Mbps for file uploads.
What is the difference between DSL and this new service?
AT&T Business U-verse is delivered differently through our fiber optic network than our DSL service. AT&T Business U-verse provides faster upload speeds of up to 1 Mbps or 1.5 Mbps compared with DSL. You will still receive Wireless networking at no additional charge.
Is free Wi-Fi available?
Yes. AT&T Wi-Fi Basic Subscription service is available for all AT&T Business U-verse speeds at no charge.
Is U-verse TV service available?
No. U-verse TV service is not yet available to small business.

Installation
Approximately how long will it take the technician to install AT&T U-verse for Business service?
The average installation time is expected to be 2.5 hours. We want to ensure that everything is working properly so that you can use your new service immediately.
Is there down time when a customer converts from other AT&T High Speed Internet service to U-verse Enabled HSI?
Just during the tech visit, but you can still access your e-mail from another computer by using your service provider’s remote access (if available).

What Customer Premise Equipment is used for the Gateway?
2Wire Model 2Wiwire 3800HGV-B is used.
I currently have other AT&T High Speed Internet service. Do I need to get new CPE?
Yes. At installation of U-Verse for business, we will install a new Wireless Gateway which will provide wireless networking at your business. The Wireless Gateway will be provided to you for the term of your service at no charge. Should you choose to cancel your service, the equipment will need to be returned pursuant to instructions that will be provided to you by AT&T.
How many computers can the Gateway support?
A maximum of 32 computers can be supported through the Wireless Gateway with our 10 Mbps Max service, or 20 computers with our 6 Mbps Elite service.
Is it possible to have two lines in the same location, one with traditional High Speed Internet service and one with Business U-verse High Speed Internet service?
No, that is not currently available.
Does this product include an Service Level Agreement?
No, not at this time.

Can AT&T U-verse for Business service be billed to a telephone number of my choice?
No, a bill separate from your telephone bill will be generated for your AT&T Business U-verse High Speed Internet service.

I am in the middle of a another High Speed Internet service contract with AT&T. If I convert to AT&T Business U-verse, will an Early Termination Fee be charged?
No. Early Termination Fees do not apply for customers who migrate from AT&T DSL to AT&T Business U-verse service.
